About Me

My friends tell me, I have accomplished a lot in my life. I certainly have had the privilege of meeting and helping many people. Through encouraging people to self-develop and look at life from another angle, many have found greater inner strength. In addition, many precious memories have been made along the way. This is my passion in life, to be of service.

I am grateful I could share wisdom, honest talk and be a listener and guide to others. It has been a delight to see my fellow human beings continue on their life's journey with a lighter, "mental rucksack", a smile and a glow in their hearts.

I want to continue this in the new, idyllic environment I have spent a year creating on Kos Island. I very much look forward to meeting you here and sharing some amazing moments.

I am fluent in English and German, coaching in either language.

Qualifications gained:

  • Life Coach (pass with distinction)
  • Teacher of sports, I am more recently ,a senior competitive athlete at international level (Qualified for Senior Olympics in 2027 in 50m and 100m sprint ).
  • Language lecturer

  • Drama teacher

I have attended numerous seminars, workshops and courses (in addition to 10 years of intense study of Buddhist philosophy) throughout my entire adult life. All of this has first concentrated on my own, lengthy, ardent  development of body, mind and soul and thereafter in teaching others. Thus, in my thirst for knowledge, I have travelled to the  UK. Canada and Switzerland to learn from some of the best wisdom teachers in the world and in many diverse areas of gathering wisdom.Half a year I live on Kos,Greece and enjoy learning about the philosophy and wisdom of the ancient, Greek Philosophers, from Epictetus and Plato to  Hippocrates, there is so much still to learn and more recently I did courses in Mental Training, 2021, February 2023, in Quantum healing and Chakra Cleansing 2025.

Author of the self-help book: "The Amazing Eyebrow"
Founded my own own language school in Staffordshire, UK.

Come and join me on the healing island of Hippocrates for some magical healing moments for body, mind and soul and invest a little time in striving to be the best version of your self on this exciting, ever challenging, fleeting journey through LIFE.

My voluntary work as co-founder, president and director of the charity Greek and Swiss Animal Help for over 12 years has brought me into contact with volunteers and people of all ages from all over the globe and working with these people made me realise how much more I could help if I had further training. Thus in 2016 I trained as a life Coach and finally passed my exams with distinction.

I worked for several years as a lecturer at the HTW (University Of Applied Science) in Chur, Switzerland. Prior to that, I had worked for several years as a social worker in the UK in a home for deprived teenagers with social problems and as a sports and drama teacher.

I had an amazing opportunity to join a study programme and studied Buddhist philosophy and wisdom intensively for 10 years in Switzerland although I must say I am not attached to any religion, nor a fan of dogma. Spreading love not fear is my motto !

My passion has always truly been in teaching and coaching so I began giving workshops in Switzerland and on Kos on a small scale until I realised this was where my true passion lies. When I was finally asked by a cancer specialist to write a self help book, having been an ardent writer from an early age, I wrote my first book and to my surprise found a publisher who wanted to publish my work. Therefore, The Amazing Eyebrow, written for altruistic reasons was born whose proceeds go straight into charities.

Having lost my husband to cancer at a much too early age, I know only too well about grief and being a widow and this book tackles one of my pet subjects and a largely tabu topic; dying. The book is based on general principles which apply to all challenges in life and offers a refreshingly positive angle, with humour, regarding our present attitudes to who we are and how best to be happy on our journey through life, sadly not taught much in schools !

Being a mum to two lovely children and later a step mum to a wonderful young man, involving all the challenges parenting brings, has also been a great education for me that I would not have wanted to miss at any cost!
